Through a partnership with Auto1 Group, we are continuously recruiting PHP Engineers from Latin America to relocate to Berlin.

AUTO1 is developing microservices every week following hexagonal architectural pattern. They have legacy code, but in 90% of cases they extract business domain and migrate to new shiny microservice. AUTO1 is fully dockerised on development and production (infrastructure as a code, thanks to Terraform). They are following DevOps practices that allow them to have a few deployments per day. Migrating PHP MVC applications to modern 12factor microservices has its own challenges and these require creative approaches.
AUTO1 uses PHP 7.*, newest Symfony, AWS. EC2, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ELK stack, Jenkins and more.
Skills:
Completed Bachelor’s Degree
Advanced/Fluent English
3+ years of professional experience in PHP programming. All projects are on PHP 7.
2+ years of experience with Symfony based technologies (versions 2.x to 4.x).
You have a good understanding PHP ecosystem.
You have a passionate opinion on how object-oriented PHP code and applications should ideally look like, but you’re not too dogmatic to ignore every-day needs of a business.

30 min Interview with HR Team
