As the main partner of Altersis in Latin America, we are currently recruiting Java EE Developers to work for a Top Client in Digital Security in Prague (Czech Republic).
Skills Required:
At least Upper Intermediate level of English (daily EN communication with clients and internal employees).
3+ years of work experience in SW development of Enterprise Java applications.
Very good knowledge of Java EE platform and related technologies – Servlets, EJB, JPA, JMS, CDI (optionally Spring).
Knowledge of web technologies and applications servers (HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, Jboss, WebShere …).
Good understanding of database fundamentals – Oracle DB preferred.

Job Duties:
Clarifying requirements & estimating workload & risks.
Developing applications using EJB 3.0, EclipseLink, Log4J and some other products (frameworks) according to the specification.
Development of server-side application (business logic) for Weblogic application server.
Working with databases (SQL queries, designing tables); working with Linux-based systems.
Writing (participating on) technical documentation.
Unit (junit) testing, basic functional testing.
Bug fixing & support.
Analyzing log files to find problems in the application.
Working in a team (communicating with other developers, technical leaders, testers and project managers) locally and remotely.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design and implementation of software components, products and server solutions in the scope of Government Programs (Issuance solutions National ID, ePassports, etc.).
As part of the P&s development team you will be responsible for product specification, design, implementation and documentation of reusable software components and solutions related to enrolment, issuance and application of secured documents (national ID cards, passports, healthcare cards, driving licenses).
Work with technical leaders to communicate and resolve technical design and development issues.
Willingness to travel worldwide for workshops, integration and deployment in customer premises (short/medium duration).
